Seems to me that reading many of these comments, CoPilot support/ offerings is no better/no worse that TomTom ! Are all these GPS suppliers the same...promises, promises ? |

CoPilot are a real quandary. Their app had real promise but sadly ALK seem hell bent on destroying the following they had.
They've removed features in updates, promised additions which never arrive and the latest app has routing so badly messed up that it is almost unusable.
I really don't understand what they are thinking, the app could be a winner in every area, so close yet so far _________________ Darren Griffin |

When I was looking for a sat nav app for my new HTC Hero running Android to replace the TT I had run on WM phones I had a look at these forums and posted some questions. From what I read and the answers I got I chose Sygic (mainly because of the routing problems that have been reported, and the ease of camera installation). So far I have not regretted my choice. _________________ Peter

Thanks, guys. I think CoPilot deleting one of my moaning posts on Facebook has probably tipped me over the edge... Sygic, here we come. |

Cheapest place is probably the Teleatlas site rather than buying a download from Sygic. Teleatlas are selling a retail pack of the Europe maps including a 4GB micro SD for £60 including delivery. I then got another 10% discount when I went to buy bringing it down to £54 (not sure if that offer is still on).
Delivery was also very quick - 2 days from Germany in mid December! _________________ Peter
