Hi Alabama978
I can assure you that my 720 would not fit onto the beanbag when using the suction thingy that come packaged with my Tomtom device. However, I already owned another type that was far superior to the original one that came with my Tomtom and that fitted perfectly.
If I was you I would take my Tomtom to Halfords and actually try it on the beanbag before purchasing. By doing that you cannot go far wrong _________________ Tomtom Go 720.

Alabama978 was asking about the Arkon mount which is much better and has a cut out at the front.
I suspect it would work fine but not having one to hand to test I can't confirm. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi Darren
It was some months ago when I purchased my beanbag, in fact I cant remember for certain exactly where I got it from. Maybe the one from Halfords will turn out to be ok with the original 720 suction thingy, time will tell. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.

Sorry may have confused everyone. The Halfords one will definitely not work with the standard Go 520 or 720. I have decided to buy the Arkon and the adjustable mount because it is only 5 pounds more for the mount and beanbag.
Will report back. |

Works ok with my TT One XL, it's a bit tight, but by having the suction cup as far back as is possible it gives just enough space to tilt the TT at the right angle. |

Hi 1952kev
‘Blue unplugged’ takes some beating when it comes to prices. You wont be disappointed. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.

Thanks Trevor.
I wish I had read about them and the friction mounts a couple of weeks ago when I bought an Arkon vent mount for the GO. It works fine but I think it may have to go on Ebay if the new one does the job......... |
