TomTom Go are bringing out an external aerial late autumn, this is for the cars which have UV windscreens and can't get a fix on satellites.
OH thank you Mr rubbergloves, at least you replied to my post. |

No problems.
As I've already mentioned I got my TT Go today and have tried it in a Mondeo and a Focus which both have the coiled wire heated windscreen and both were no problem.

Not the best way to get answers to an issue!!
It may well be that the people who have these devices dont know the answer, and the ones that do know are not available.
With so many posts in the forums it is sometoimes difficul;t to pick up every one. Particulary when some of the moderators are away.
In response to your question, partially answered by MrRubberGloves, TomTom have built the GO device with a number of (as yet unspecified) connectors underneath in the the mount. One of these is definatly for an external aerial. Speculation has it that the others could be for : stereo muting, serial input/output, external audio, etc. _________________ Mike Barrett |
