CoPilot Live v8 Pocket PC Update !

Just checked on Co-Pilot Central and there is now listed a
"CoPilot Live v8 PocketPC update" - 10.3Mb download Razz

Hopefully this will contain the long awaited and well overdue
Qwerty keyboard feature, and some other enhancements.

I still have a problem though, in that although the Update is listed,
and was "released" on 21st December 2009, I can't download it Crying or Very sad

Clicking the download button in Co-Pilot Central doesn't work,
so I am now awaiting a response from Support Evil or Very Mad

Just installed latest version of Central. When going to update page there is only the list of voices showing - no winmo update. This is getting tiresome to say the least........ Come on CoPilot, get this sorted.

I did get the update to show in Central but had the same problem as Cocunut so selected a voice to install as well and it seemed to work but on checking it has not installed and now no longer shows in Central (using latest version) and no updates show as available on the phone.

Tried to find where you can download copilot.wmppc updated file on their website and cannot find it you have to do through Central. For Android you can just download the file!

If anyone manages to get it to work any chance of uploading the new 'copilot.wmppc' file? or sending by email? - Will report back if I have any success but just wish you could do without Central which seems like a pointless bit of bloatware.

PS My version of CoPilot shows as v346 yet link suggest it should be v557.

Having followed the advice from adamwolfe - Uninstalled CoPilot Central 2.0,
then re-installed the latest version 2.0.0.65, I was able to download the PocketPC Uodate - Yay Laughing

I'm now playing with the program to try and find if there is indeed a QWERTY keyboard in there - but haven't found it yet !

All now working - lots of subtle changes - no new keyboard though. For anyone else trying this, follow the thread as it seems to work ok.

I've updated to the latest version of Central, but no updates showing! Been in touch with support, but they're completely and utterly useless.... it's a shame as the product could be quite good but the aftersales is non existent.... I'll never buy from them again or recommend any of their products to anyone. Been on to them for weeks now about not being able to import custom POI's, and just get ignored.... diabolical support

Oh God, isn't it hard work Sad

I connected my PDA up and started Central and great the long awaited update was there along with several new voices, so I clicked on what I wanted and hit download and install and all seemed to go well Sad

except that everytime I opened CPL8 it told me that it was installing the updates but it didn't show the latest camera updates.

So I tried to reinstall CPL which didn't go very well Sad

so I rebuilt my memory card and started from scratch but it seems that whatever I do now I can't get the update back Sad

I've reinstalled Central rebooted but no joy, lets hope a belly full of turkey and Christmas cheer will mellow me before ALK support gets back to work.

In CoPilot Central, go to Central, Options then tick Display Previously Downloaded Content and the update should return.

FFFF my central never shows anything, its not got any updates and the wording doesnt fit into half the boxes is a waste of space.

Been trying hard to find these updates you speak off?
