For those of you who do not subscribe to the newsletter where we announced the revised publication dates for the speed camera database over the festive period here is a reminder for your diaries.
The last database release of 2009 will be this Wednesday, 23rd December. There be no release on Wed 30th December, the next release will be 6th January 2010.
I'm sure you'll appreciate even we need a break over Christmas and so we chose not to release in-between Christmas and New Year as processing speed camera submissions is not best conducted when under the influence of Christmas cheer!
We have missed only four publication dates in 2009 which is a pretty good batting average.
For those of you lucky enough to receive a new satnav on Friday you will at least have a newly released database to install and we will as usual be manning the forums to ensure that all your new owner questions get answered so if you can, drop by and say hello!

...and just to mention too that these were planned and not just 'missed'!
The ones we 'missed' were:
1) MaFt & Mike B at CeBIT
2) MaFt in Spain
3) MaFt in deepest darkest Cornwall
4) Christmas week

I'd feel a lot more comfortable about all the time MaFt takes off if he had the common decency to work late occasionally. _________________ Dennis

Speed cameras do not go up over night.A GATSO can take months
THE temp specs weeks the yellow posts are up well in advance of
the cameras being fitted and its not hard to work out what they wll be.
