Spoke to ALK today, looks like they have no plan to release TTS or Traffic for CoPilot 8. |

Regarding TTS, what version where you discussing as I understood the last update for Android added TTS for systems running Donut (1.6) or above.
No idea about traffic though, but ALK do have history of suggesting something will be coming in the current version and then at a later date failing to deliver on this. |

Traffic for CoPilot 8 is already available in the US. And I've even seen it working in a UK version. |

ALK tweeted today that the rumour that there would be no live traffic is incorrect. |

What about TTS for Windows Mobile? What did they tweet about TTS for Windows Mobile version? Are they gonna provide it soon or they'll just gonna laugh at the suckers that bought CoPilot Live 8 the same way they laughed at the suckers that bought CoPilot Live 7? |

The user guide says: "¹Text To Speech voice guidance is a premium feature available for purchase through CoPilot Central. Availability varies by region. Not available in CoPilot Live for Android phones and iPhone. "
So is it available or not? |

TTS (£2.99 for life) and traffic (£19.99 for a year) are available as in-app purchases on the most recent iPhone version, just released within the last day or so.

Traffic for Android and WM was promised (last week) to be available this week. ALK are now saying it won't be available until next week... |

That sounds like the way these ALK crooks work. TTS was supposed to be part of CoPilot 7, too. Was promised throughout the whole year and then in the end they dropped the bomb saying sorry "No TTS for CoPilot 7". Looks like these ALK crooks are pulling the same stunt! |
