Hi,
Where can one source a list of the recognised voice commands for the X50 series?

On the device go to page 4 of 9 in the preferences and select "command and control" then "What can I say?" and a list comes up.
Here are the words it can use which may not be that helpful in the current format:

Spill the beans, Mike....
Did you find a clever way to compile that list or did you give in (like I did once!) and type it all out again? |

Screen shots on the device and then some other software to automate creation of a text file from each picture contained in the folder, had I typed it I am sure there would have been spelling mistakes would have crept in!
Try a Google search on Labview IMAQ for a few clues, but that really is like using a sledge hammer to crack a nut! - Mike |

OCR... Why didn't I think of that!
Works too... I just tried it with the first screenshot I came across on my Pc (the main menu page one) and got
Main Menu 1 of 3 14 48

to... alternative me!

Dunno what I was doing in Germany when I took it, but the system works!

I wrote a little program in Labview that could read BMP files and process them, all that was needed was the screen grabs in one specific folder on the PC then press run and in seconds there was a text file containing the whole lot, but basic OCR applications should be able to do similar it would just take slightly longer - Mike |
