Navcore 9 will work fine on the 720 but you will lose some Traffic capabilities until it is officially released. _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,

Do you have any safe instructions on how to install Navecore 9 onto a 720? Someone mentioned in another thread that there could be problems with bootloaders etc.
About the Traffic capabilities, are you referring to GPRS traffic or TMC? _________________ TomTom GO720T: App ver 8.351(9982/090518), OS:315187, GPS v1.20, Boot 5.5120

I installed the 9.022 app on my 720 and it launches correctly but doesn't not work very well after that. I can't navigate properly in the menus and the application freezes when I perform certain operations like trying to connect to a BT device.
Anyone else had similar or different experiences? |

9.022 is known to be flakey on non x50 devices.
Give the 9.004 version a try - it should be better.
It will not function 100% as it was not designed for your device, but it should be better than 9.022
I hope you didn't upgrade the bootloader! |

Thanks for the device Andy! Tried the 9.004 version but with similar result. The application freezes in the same way as the 9.022 version. I think I will skip these attempts and wait for the official release for x20. The feature I'm curious on is the Eco routes calculation. |
