I think most units that are pre-x20 are running 7.9xx.
Probably because there are hardware differences that require a modified, or rewritten, navcore. _________________ Richard

I welcome the omission of the signal strength bar. Takes up too much real estate and these days you don't need it IMHO. If you lose signal you're screen goes black and white. Good enough for me.
What I would like to see is AVRC profile implemented for the bluetooth functionality and media player. Anyone tried that? _________________ Tom Tom GO 720

Usual thing though, a lot of people don't like change, Why not make it an option like all the other things on the status bar are? (or were?)
I think I'm going to take a long time to get used to not having the speed in the middle. |

Andy I seem to remember you have an I/O player so you understand the basics of Bluetooth. Has AVRCP been implemented? _________________ Tom Tom GO 720

Only the 940 has the mp3 player and AFAIK its not got a Navcore 9 release available for it as yet, I very much doubt TT will be adding AVRCP to the devices although I agree it would be nice to use it via the iO-Play - Out of curiousity I will try the 940 in the car with some oddball software on it and see what happens but I think I know the answer - Mike |

... or me but I have binned the GO range in favour of the XL LIVE so don't have BT anymore
But at least the XL LIVE works flawlessly (HD Traffic problems permitting - but that was TTs Servers, not the device or Navcore) |
