Buying advice - headphone socket

I plan to use a TomTom on a number of vehicles, including a motorcycle.

Do any of the current TomTom One IQ range have a normal headphone jack?

If not, which of the cheaper end of the range do.

I've tried the iPhone app, and it's unusable without the cradle, and the cradle is no use on a bike - as it diverts the sound from the headphone socket.

Apologies if this is in the wrong place, I searched for similar questions but didn't see anything.

For a line out socket you need to be looking at the Go-x20 or x30 range, some of the refurbished x20 devices can be found on the internet for far less than the price of the XL IQ and once updated to the very latest application and map they will also have IQ Routes as well as a whole host of other features available should you want to employ them - Mike

Technically, no.
But the line out on a 720 is actually plenty loud enough (in my living room at any rate) on a pair of ordinary walkman-type headphones.

In fact it is too loud, and with recent software changes, there is stupidly NO VOLUME ADJUSTMENT possible from the TomTom. The volume slider is unmoveable and you get a fatuous message on-screen saying to use the car radio to adjust the volume.

Thanks Andy, as this is your field, what is the difference between the two? I always thought line out was louder and not suitable for headphones?

CPC Farnell are still listing TT GO 520 as in stock brand new, so with LMG at £124.95 including vat. Mine seems OK and just managed to squeeze the new map into the LMG 30 days earlier this week

It is possible to fit a headphone jack to the One and there is a thread HERE
I use my OneXL on the bike and the headphone works well.
