Has anyone got the spoken speed camera warnings to work on the Tomtom 1.2 iPhone app to replace the usual bells & whistles?

There is no option available to "Warn when near POI" so setting up warnings is impossible even if you do manage to install the PGPSW database by jailbreaking the phone - Mike

Yes I'm checking various files out at the moment

I can get the cameras to show up just fine on the map but as you say at the moment there is no way to link those to spoken or audible warnings.

Just wondering if the existing TomTom Camera warnings can be changed to something else even a 'Warning speed camera' is better than the bells and chimes.... Thats how the CoPilot app works

Think the alerts are stored in one of the data.chk files, will play a while but thanks for confirming anyway

Modifying the data.chk file is viable and is something we used to do before the OGG files were used, its not too difficult to work out the file layout if you use a hex edit application - Mike
