Viewranger in for review

Hi many thanks for the replies and advice. I am not at home at the moment so haven't got access to the files.

I remember trying to load the sis file using Nokia Suite then it said to finish using the phone to install View Ranger, I clicked on the phone and it said that "unable to load software". I'll give it a try later whn I get home.

Just thought I would add a comment, I too have ViewRanger on Nokia 5800 it is excellent. The service provided by Mike B at ViewRanger outstanding, as mentioned earlier they seem to work 24-7. I have upgraded my phone and ordered additional maps and always receive responses very quickly, any queries I have had are answered almost straight away

Hi

I managed to get it up and running, I installed the software again and it accepted it.

Now I am trying to work out how to use it in the 12 days that I have left in the trial to decide as to whether to buy it or not.

Viewranger have just announced on their site that VR is coming to both the iPhone (oh, joy!) and Android.

Viewranger is compatible with the iPhone. It has great features and functionalities such as Map Interaction, Tracks, Routes, Point of interest, Orgainzer. Initial Overview Map, Wi fi Interface and also additional features are included.

And I see Viewranger has now come out of Beta on Android. Now available as a public release, see http://www.viewranger.com/android/.
