Mr T
Thanks for the fast reply
But I have already had a look at the editor and changed the map views in navigator, but I haven't found anywhere to edit the safety screen.
I might just be missing something Doh
Please explain

Fergy,
Think you have misunderstood Mr T's reply - have another look at it!! 8O _________________ ___________

Had another look
The software pachage MR T suggests only change the colours of the maps and not the safety screen
I have already changed the colour of the maps for night view so it matches the car (Red on Black)
but the safety screen still shows as white on blue as the are no options within the package to change it
I know I could turn of the safty screen ... But i don't want too
Or am i still missing something
Fergy (a little confused)

Fergy,
My apologies - wasn't sure if you have realised that was an add-on piece of software available from that link. I have had a look at it myself and it does appear to only apply to maps. It doesn't look like it offers the ability to change the colour of the safety screen (maybe I am wrong though) - I have e-mailed the authors to ask for clarification as I would like the ability to be able to change the s/s colour also.
Do let me know if you discover more.
Cheers

Are you sure on this? At the bottom of the list of items to colour there is:
Navview: status/safeview panel background
Navview: status/safeview panel borders
Navview: status/safeview panel text
Navview: status/safeview panel dim text
I assumed that these changed the safety screen. |

I think i have got to the bottom of this
I picked africa.clr to edit and this file does not include the safety screen colour settings
I noticed in explorer that some of the .clr file where 3k and some 4k
will now edit antarctica and see what happens
will report back soon
thanks for all your help

Fergy/MrT,
I have just received this reply to my e-mail to the author of the program asking if it was in fact possible to change the colour of the safety screen...
Quote...
"No, as far as I know it is not possible. The colors (pictures in fact)
are build into the .exe.
Regards,
Johan"

P.S. I assume that since you never posted again then you were not successful? _________________ ___________

Your right
Even though the settings for the safety screen are in some of the .clr files , changing the values for these has no affect
Time to give up on this one
Thanks for everyones help
