|

My friend has been having problems with all the voices on her XL.
At a listening volume of 85% they are distorted. At 50% they are reasonably clear but inaudible to her when driving.
I have removed and reloaded the voices but with no difference.
On my GO730 I can have them at 90% and they are still as clear as a bell!
Any ideas please?

Thanks in advance.javascript:emoticon('') |

Is this occurring on battery or when plugged into power? _________________ Darren Griffin |

On both. I tried it in my car with both the XL and my GO730 running and the voice quality is markedly worse on the XL.(Using same voice on both for a fair comparison)
Should I back it up, clear flash and reload or is it a known problem?
Thanks for your input. |

Not a known issue, the XL if anything is often recommended because if its excellent speaker.
I can't imagine that a software re-load would resolve it, if it's noticeably distorted then perhaps it needs a warranty repair? _________________ Darren Griffin |
