Connecting 760 to new GTM-21 cradle

Great forum - hope you can help.

My orginal 760 cradle was damaged (don't ask!) - I have a lifetime subscription to the Traffic info - I ordered a cradle which contains the GTM-21 connector etc as a direct replacement from Amazon - plugging in the nuvi - and now get some sort of PING error on the External Devices screen which says there's been a change in the power connection from 0 to 1.

It continues on this loop - and there's no Traffic icon in the Tools menu and the GTM staus remains empty.

I thought you could plug your GTM-21 and your 760 into any cradle and it would work ??

Do I need to do a hard reset ??
