Using Outlook 2003 and Vista and issues are the same as discussed with Darren last week, i.e. right hand column first then left hand column further down page slightly overlapping. I'm sure the blue background appears to be not as wide this week though |
Same here with Outlook 2003 & XP Sp3. _________________ Ric - TomTom 520 DEAD - Passed to the great traffic jam in the sky. Now using Maps & Waze on Samsung Galaxy S4 + CamerAlert of course! |

Well Newsletter layout still a disaster and would not be able to read without html version.
I am using Outlook 2002 with SP3 (well ok for most things so why change) but style sheet not working. Left column in the middle etc
Maybe you now appreciate that Microsoft MAKE the rules - they have no need to keep to standards!

considering that microsoft were part of the group who first proposed the web standards committee it makes you think a bit... doesn't it?

IT'S THE MARKET, DOT COM!
If a supplier thinks they can kill off the opposition they will go proprietary; if they think they need to conform to maintain market share, they will go standards.
Not the whole story, I know, but we mustn't be too surprised - the EU, and the US antitrust people have both had lots of fun with Bill Gates' empire. _________________ David

MaFt is the one who deserves the praise as it was his hard work that created the new (old) table based template.
We're delighted to hear that we have finally cracked it, there are some minor differences between the intended layout and that which appears in some email clients but they are minor and we can live with them as they don't detract from the basic layout. _________________ Darren Griffin |
