I've not tried it yet but am now downloading. All it says has changed is it now has full UK postcodes (This is the UK only version).
I did think traffic was supposed to be coming in this version, maybe it'll have an option to buy it inside the app but either way full postcode support is the main thing I wanted.
EDIT: Good news is this update also has traffic support in it... bad news is you need to pay for that and also for the postcode support as an In App Purchase.
Not sure how much either cost yet as I guess I got this too quick and no extras are showing when I go to buy them at the moment.
EDIT 2: Changed thread title to match correct version.

No extras available yet for me. Just hoping they switch them on soon.

The navigon contact on their facebook says:

The Update 1.3 of MobileNavigator British Isles went live last night, the In App Purchase product “UK Postcode Navigation” hovever hasn’t passed Apple’s review process yet but should become available very soon. Just download the update and check “Menu” ”More” ”Extras”. As soon the feature has been approved it will be available in this section.

I've also read that traffic is not available for the UK yet but will be coming soon. Hopefully it won't be too long.
I saw a screenshot of the French version which shows it at 19.99 Euro's so guess traffic will be around 14.99 pounds when it comes to the UK. Not sure if that has a limit on it or once you've paid you get that for the lifetime of the application.
Hopefully the postcode upgrade isn't too expensive. |

It updated when synced this morning..
Loving Navigon.. NOT loving Apple's fortnight0long review process.
I thought the UK was one of the first locales to get traffic? |

Postcode extra is now available. Very reasonable price for just over 1 pound.

Yes it's 1.19 and that's for the lifetime of the app as far as I am aware.
Hoping Traffic won't be that long in turning up. |

I have downloaded the postcodes.
Not as good as tomtom postcodes in that you can enter a full postcode but cannot enter a house number too.
Still, for the sake of a quid its worth having. |

It's been raised on their facebook about not being able to enter a house number, and reported back to their dev team. Hopefully that will be fixed. They seem pretty responsive.

I'm trying to think where I saw it - perhaps during the update itself as a warning - but the traffic update said it would not only receive but send data. This implies that the traffic updates may be user generated, like TomTom's HD Traffic service, which sounds great! (if they've got a big enough userbase)
If Navigon implement this at say £20 a year, or even for a lifetime sub, that'll blow TomTom out the water. |

or maybe it's just that it needs to send your location/route to a server to just get traffic relevant to you?

Could be I guess. I'm trying to be optimistic!
User generated traffic content is definitely the way to go, although not trivial to manage of course. |

It was only a matter of time but the Navigon europe app is now available on the app store in 1.3.0, now with the same traffic and full post code enhancements.
Obviously with the rest of europe to contend with it would take a but longer to finnish, wouldn't it? _________________ Dom
