I have downloaded the file four times now! Three times, it got to the end then said there was an error. Once, it apparently downloaded the file successfully but when I double click on it, it says unpacking 0% and sits there doing nothing for an hour and a half.
Have used two different PCs and a laptop
Just trying for a fifth time.
Anyone had similar problems? |

I had it say unpacking 0% for ages. I just left it and it finally did it. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 3790T Firmware 4.30

Fifth download worked OK!
When it finished, it didn't seem to do much but i could hear the disc thrashing - then the unpacking message came up and within 5 mins off we went to installing maps!
Still no idea why it failed four times though!
Thanks for the replies |

It took also ages here (at least 2 hours) before everything was installed, despite the fast PC and connection. I don't why it should take so long. Not the most efficient way to update. |
