Well spotted, never noticed that. Does it actually play anything back for you? I have play and cancel options, and nothing happens when I hit play (except the button dims).
Slightly unnervingly, CoPilot for iPhone has already developed a history of partially implemented options - which suggests very poor code development control. I suspect this is a forthcoming development that has a presence on-screen, without actually functioning. I wouldn't lose too much sleep over this, even if it is generating files on your device, subsequent updates have an annoying habit of deleting user-specific data (EG. Favourites) which in this case, might prove to be a bonus! _________________ iPhone 4/4S (iOS 5.1.1); TomTom Western Europe (1.10)/USA & Canada (1.10); CoPilot for iPhone (8), UK mapping, Mac OS 10.8/XP Pro/Win7; Tongue firmly in cheek! |

Hi
GPS Track playback works fine. It uses demo mode and you can speed through the track by hitting the demo button. I already have an open ticket with ALK support uk to find out how to delete these. I will report back if they respond. |

Weird. I have the option, but there are no saved tracks in there. Wonder how I switched off recording them? Or perhaps it just doesn't work for me. _________________ Alan - iPhone 5 64GB, with CamerAlert, TomTom Europe & CoPilot |

Hmmm, as reported, doesn't appear to work for me. I know a lot of the forthcoming premium live services seem to be enabled for random users (I have fuel pricing and live search) ahead of being officially launched as a 'to buy' option (along with the long-awaited traffic option) so maybe you're lucky and I'm not.
Would be grateful to know what ALK say, so thanks for the promise to post any results. That said, don't hold your breath - I've had an open ticket for 9 weeks now - they can't cope with complex questions!! _________________ iPhone 4/4S (iOS 5.1.1); TomTom Western Europe (1.10)/USA & Canada (1.10); CoPilot for iPhone (8), UK mapping, Mac OS 10.8/XP Pro/Win7; Tongue firmly in cheek! |

The GPS Track playback works fine here too, Press Play and it shows whichever track I've requested. I also have all the Live choices active with the exception of Live Traffic. If it helps I have Version 8.0.0.417. Also going into Licensing shows the following.

I have a response on this from Co-Pilot support. I also asked if they are working on custom POI's.
Quote: | Currently it is not possible to delete GPS tracks from your iPhone; due to the nature of this issue , we have now escalated this to our development team to work on.
We are currently working on a way to add POI's to the iPhone without jail breaking phone.
Regards,
CoPilot Technical Support

My version of Co-Pilot only has standard live services (Link, Weather and Roadside). Seems the licencing is dodgy. |

New Update released. Now with iPod controls, and under settings a Speech button which is greyed out - possible Text to Speech premium upgrade? Version 8.0.0.469
Still unable to delete Tracks though
Now able to turn off the welcome to co-pilot live at start-up, or was that there in the last upgrade and I missed it?

installed the latest update.
Still haven't got fuel prices !
It might have happened I think because of my jailbroken Iphone, I installed the speed cameras from their website manually, before they introduced it into the full product.
Then when they updated the app to include cameras, I had to uninstall and reinstall (as the database was corrupt, but it did display the fuel prices at that time)
Oh well. |

I just installed the update and had a look at the iPod controls. They work but when you come to chose what you want to play, there is nothing in the list of podcasts. If I cue up a podcats using the main iPod app, I can control it from within CoPilot but I can't select a new one.
Update: As a workround I created a smart playlist for my podcasts and can play them via the iPod control in CoPilot 8.0.0.469. _________________ Phil Lee

This is new with this update. Plus, the MUTE voice commands remembers if it was disabled, between closing and restarting Co-Pilot. |
