I have two trumpion trg1 satnavs (one for me one for the wife) they were both preloaded with r66 but one of the sd cards stopped working. I bought a new card sandisk ultra ii with 1.89gb space and tried to copy the files from the working card and tried a partition image, but cannot get the new card to work.
The working card can be placed in either device and will start r66 but the other just stays at the main screen has anyone got a link to the software for these devices as trumpion website is dead.
Please help thanks.

Subject changed to something more helpful.
Edit: In light of MikeA's response below it appears my information is wrong. Post withdrawn.

Format the card to FAT32, is the old defunct card still readable if you use a card reader with the PC? if so can you see a folder named after a map region?
The Route 66 version 7 software that the Trumpion devices uses is a great application but these days the maps are very out of date, its a real shame there is no map update available for these units that were also badged and sold under the RAC badge - Mike |

No the old card doesnt read tried several different adaptors but nothing works windows just says
"please insert a disk into removeable disk"
When I try the other card it works straight away. The working card works in either GPS with no problems but no amount of copying or creating images of that card will work. Is the software locked to the card? |

It is possible the software is locked to the SD card which will prevent you from using a copy of the working card, I must admitt I didn't think R66 used such a lock with version 7 but it could be something Trumpian introduced under a license agreement scheme - Mike |

Is it worth trying to copy the working card onto a new card, and seeing if that will also work in both devices?
