|
|
After hunting around for the latest prices for the TomTom 940, I’ve noticed most, if no all sites (including TomTom) are reporting it as a discontinued product
After a little more rummaging around most of the x40 range seem to be a bit thin on the ground.
Why?
Strangely the older x30 range is still widely available, even from TomTom.

I had another look today and you’re quite right it’s alive and kicking and available for £391.48
Whoever looks after their site must have made a temporary booboo as a few days ago as it said Discontinued in red where the price is now displayed.

PC World have the 940 as end of stock at £270ish (wasn't really looking) and their website shows the 950 at £299. |

I can see the 940 prices going up if users of these devices want a unit with mp3 player capabilty, FM Tx and Live services as its the only only unit capable of performing all these functions - Mike |
