Might it be a POI warning? Have a look at the POI warnings settings to see if one has the strange car icon.

Can you describe the icon? Is it on-screen all the time?

Are you sure its an icon of a car? if this is after say two hours of driving it could be the reminder to take a driver break, but I always thought the icon was a picnic table - that said I never use the feature so it might have changed - Mike

Could it be the warning for the driver to take a break from driving?

Or the average speed warning?

What settings do you have in "Safety Preferences"?

That might give a clue to where it's coming from.

Y'know what? I bet he's confusing us with TomTom and isn't even thinking of coming back to look for a reply until after 48 working hours. Laughing

Could be the "above speed limit" warning; friend of mine asked why his unit kept mooing at him.

Maybe a warning sound for 'roadhog'. ;)

Sad Sad Looks like he has an even worse opinion of us than of TomTom - we're close to 72 hours now!!
