Than could you help me out because i have bought the TT 930T and tried my RDS-TMC and worked great till I updated my navi and now its always scanning. I thought if i can find stations and manually tune the 930T I could get it to work again.
Any advice? |

Have a look in the North America map folder (assuming thats the map you updated) using Windows Explorer and report back the file size of the following two files:
tmccode.dat
traffic.dat
These might be a 0Kb and if so its an easy fix - Mike |

The files you need will be on your PC that you used to download the map to, its the stupid Home application thats at fault with this one though as it copys the file name over without the content hence the 0Kb file size.
Check your device and if the files are indeed 0Kb have a look in TomTom Home to find where it saves downloads (Tools/ Preferences then select the folder preferences tab and one of them will tell you where the folder is on your PC. Locate the download file for the latest map using Windows Explorer (it will be a single compressed zip file) open that and use Windows Explorer to copy the two files to the North America map folder on your device replacing the 0Kb ones with files that actually contain data - Mike |
