Hi all
After following a pointless backup/reformat/selective-folder-restore/update procedure suggested by TT support for another issue, I no longer have any computer voices available on my 520T.
Rather than wait days for TT support to give me a completely useless answer, I wonder if anyone on here could point me in the direction of what files to look at ?
I still have the backup I took before going through the ill-fated procedure, so hopefully it's a simple case of restoring some missing files ?
Thanks in anticipation ! |

Try looking at Mr T's "Text to speech and voice input gone." topic from two days ago.

Fair enough... I'd forgotten that TomTom themselves rarely call it by that name. |

What application version are you currently running on the device? - Mike |

Aha, I have spotted the problem.
During the last procedure. I missed off copying the "LoquendoTTS" folder back to the device. The instructions TT sent me referred to it as "loqendotts", IE not spelt right and case-insensitive, which I guess is why I missed it...
Cheers

They must have been working from a file set taken from a Home back up from a TomTom 910 as that would explain why the case sensitive is wrong - Mike |
