Does anyone know where I can source some Garmin TTS voices, other than the standard ones Garmin offer or the 3 "special" ones they offer through MyGarmin?
Used to have Mr T, John Cleese, Ozzy Osbourne etc on my TomTom which relieved some of the boredom on long journeys (ok, for the first 5 minutes at least!)

Also try Pigtones.com
BTW, don't confuse TTS voices, which offer spoken street names, and "celebrity voices" which do not. You're likely out of luck if you're truly looking for 3rd party add-on TTS voices for any pnd, whether Garmin, TomTom or other.

I'm not even aware of outside companies that offer true TTS voices for even TomTom's. Celebrity/Fun voices are always non-TTS afaik.

Hi, I'm not confusing TTS with spoken street names and "celebrity voices" - as said in my original post, been down that route (ooooh SatNav related pun!!) before and it was funny for 5 mins, but soon became tiresome...
I'm after variations on the TTS theme - just nice clear voices.
Not a problem if they aren't available, I can live with British - Emily (if the Wife would let me  )

Did you use webupdater to look at what voices are available at Garmin? I have a special place in my heart for Aussie Karen

Yeah, tried that - wasn't massively impressed to be honest!
Might give it another go, just for a change
