Hello All
Having a nightmare with a new TT. Did a latest map guarantee as I had V825.2157. Downloaded OK, then would not copy (not enough space on my harddrive of computer!! to expand zip files). Moved files to make space and tried again. Started copying OK but then stopped and hung with the blue bar about 2/3 the way across the screen. Forced quit - maybe I shouldn't have done it!!
When I tried to connect to TT home and check for latest map it says click 'get it now' and install for free. But when I do it says no items available.
I took a copy when I first got the unit. Also the files must have been downloaded (will they still be on my computer?). I'm using a Mac with 10.4.
Help!!! |

Just an update. Looking on the TT support it mentioned using Add voice etc then add files from computer; which I've tried. Starts ok then stops at the point where it says copying... cline.dat. Are there some files I need to delete before trying to copy files again. I assume that some of the files have been copied but not all? |

cline.dat is one of the main (huge) map files.
Sounds like a corrupted download.
If you delete the downloaded files on the PC, Home should let you download a fresh copy. |

Thanks Andy
Spoke with TT help and starting with a fully erased XL I still had issues with copying the Navcore software; it would freeze on different files. Taking it back for a replacement as it's not even a week old!! |

Have a look here.
It is more than likely fixable.
Make sure you have your Anti Virus software disabled whilst installing the files. |

Thanks Andy
I've seen that but still have problems copying the specific files to the Tom Tom. It will always freeze. It's going back for a replacement. I've lost confidence in the unit and spent way too much time with it. I've had a one & 720 before and never had any such problems. Thanks all for your help. |
