Just got this from TT. Note the last line...
Quote: | Great news! LIVE Services are now better than ever.
We hope you've been enjoying LIVE Services. The great news is, we've just improved them - so you'll save even more time and money on the roads.
For example, HD Traffic now:
. covers 97% of all roads - that's about 10,000km more motorways, slip roads, trunk roads and A-roads than any other traffic information provider.
. offers twice the accuracy of other traffic information providers, which means you'll always get the fastest route and know exactly when you'll arrive.
. gives you up to 5 times more traffic updates than any other provider.
Don't forget to make the most of all the other great LIVE Services - including Safety Alerts with mobile & fixed speed camera locations from Road Angel, Fuel Prices and Local Search with Google.
Your free month starts automatically today. |
Although my 740 still has the same expiry date! |

I got the same email but minus the last line. Did you have an active LIVE sub prior to the email? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hmm I thought that might explain why I don't see it but it's not in the Plain Text version either _________________ Darren Griffin |

I had the email telling me my free month started yesterday. I have never subscribed to Live but used the free three months when I bought my 540.
My Live services are shown to expire on 30/09/2010 but I can use Google search, weather and fuel prices but Live traffic says I need a subscription.
Edit: Everything is working now and due to expire in a year. I can hope

TomToms response...
Quote: | You have a live services subscription including fuel prices and traffic that expires in May 2010. The email is a promotion for customers that do not have live services yet. |

I recieved the same e-mail, but it appears I have no live services. My main screen has a yellow triangle on the far right of the screen, and when I try google or fuel updates a message "live services connection error" appears. Were do you check to see the experation date of live services on a 940? |
