|

I have downloaded POIs, to my Nuvi 350 but they all show on screen as a bus in a square box. If I highlight the icon the text is correct for the poi, just the icon is wrong. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Rich |

Thanks paul, thought i had already done that, put speed cams, speed symbols and voice warnings in a folder, then loaded them via poi loader, these work fine. Added a few more, Motorway exits, stations etc, it is this last group that dont display correctly |

Have you checked the icons are correct before uploading them? |

Thanks again for your reply Paul. Sorry for the delay replying PayPal messed my subs up !!
If I go into the folder on the PC all the symbols look correct, there is no noticable difference, in properties, between those that display ok and those that dont. |

Are they PGPSW POIs (and icons)? Or where are they from, and what size are the icons? The black square symbol I think is shown where Garmin can't find a usable icon to display. _________________ David

They are the ones from this site, UK, transport, rail stations, motorway exit and entry and airports. 22X22, 1.51kb. the description for each different symbol ends with PGPSW so is this the problem? |

If you mean "PGPSW" is part of the file name of the icons, then if it is NOT also part of the file name of the POI data file, then yes, that's your problem I think.
Apart from the file type, after the "." (eg .mpg, .asc .csv, etc) the rest of the title must be EXACTLY the same for voice, icon & POI files otherwise the satnav software doesn't tie them together.[/i] _________________ David
