If you still have the map on storage card see if you can browse to it via File Explorer on the PPC. if you can't see it that way try ejecting and re-inserting the card. _________________ Darren Griffin |

The map has dissappeared again? Sounds more like a problem with your storage card. Check it out with Storage Tools. _________________ Darren Griffin |

It can take a long time, give it up to an hour, failing that format and re-install the map. If you format go for FAT32. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Yes, I had same problem upgrading from 3.01 to 3.03 - in fact happened twice in a row. Got so arsed off with the whole thing that I reformatted the SD card and did a hard reset to the Ipaq and did a complete re-installation of TTN3 3.01 then 3.03 - now works perfectly. A drastic step to have to take but I could think of no other solution.

Unless you are experiencing problems then there is no problem leaving it as FAT16. If you do have to format it at any stage then I recommend FAT32.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it _________________ Darren Griffin |

The easiest way would be to simply copy the contents of your CF card to a folder on the PC, unless you have a card reader though this would be a slow process for a full 128 or 256Mb card via ActiveSync. _________________ Darren Griffin |
