Hi..
Ive just bought a nuvi 200w ,and noticed an annoying trait with it (though as its my first satnav im not sure whther its supposed to work that way). The trait or problem is when i click ADDRESS and type in a place name such as LLANTONY (theres a nice abbey there and i didnt know the postcode),i get as far as LLANTO
And the nuvi auto fills and shows me LLANTOOD in Dyfed ,with no other entries.Well i dont want that one i want LLANTONY and the only alternative i now have is to click BACK button which then goes back to the CITY OR POSTAL CODE screen. In other words i cant finish LLANTONY.What i cant understand is that it shows on the map so why doesnt the nuvi let me type LLANTONY in or is the place list limited in some way?
tia

Don't know if it's this, but is Llantony near a larger town? Sometimes a 'small' location or a suburb get included as part of that rather than under its own name. So you can only navigate to an address there by giving the 'larger town' as the city.
If you know a postal code there put that in and see what the unit shows as the location. _________________ David

Nice remains of church.
If you carry on up the valley you have one of the best views over the hills for miles.
