I can't remember it offhand but it was something like GPS5. You might be able to search for it or, with luck, someone might be able to confirm it, or correct it if I got it wrong. _________________ TT Go Essential |

Hi Folk
My wife got me the beanbag as a present from Amazon and as I have said before I am very pleased with it too.
However, if she could see the price of the same beanbag at Blue Unplugged she would be pulling her hair out and I would be getting cold dinners for the next six months. How can the same articles differ so much in price?
By the way, I had never heard of Blue Unplugged until seeing it mentioned on this topic. It certainly pays to shop around. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.

Hi Darren
I looked at Amazon price (£16.99) and then onto Blue Unplugged. I went to GPS Accessories / Tomtom Accessories / Tomtom 720 Accessories and it says Arkon Non-Skid Friction Style Weighted Dash Mount with Safety Hook. Price £9.95. The picture that is displayed looks identical to the bean bag that got from Amazon. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.

Hi Darren
Yes, the mount that comes with the original Tomtom 720 will not work with the beanbag. This is not the beanbag’s fault it’s the rather awkward plug fitting on the TomTom device. Luckily, I had already got a better mount than the one that originally came with my Tomtom so all was well.
However, its something that prospective buyers must bare in mind before rushing out to buy a beanbag. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.

But I use my original TT 720 mount on it with no bother. I do put the beanbag right at the edge of the dashboard but it's fine in my Skoda Roomster and was in the old Mitsubishi Spacewagon. _________________ TT Go Essential |

It works but for those with flat dashboards it leaves the x20/x30 angled up too much. Also the original non-right angled USB power leads won't fit. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I purchased a bean-bag on flea bay,it is the same as the Arkon ,what is even better that it was a" buy it now" and I paid for a next day delivery as I was going on holiday the next day,the item did not turn up in th allotted time ,I phoned the company and was given a tracker No which did not exist,so i phoned them, got a grovelling apology from them [they were out of stock !] my money returned and a FREE been bag happy days. _________________ Square2024

But I didn't realise any 720s were supplied with a straight connector. I use a USB RDS-TMS so I have the double usb power lead. I guess the best advice is to try it and see. _________________ TT Go Essential |

Hi Folk
Now, I do not want to go off topic but maybe you can help me. I have the usual type charger that fits in the car Cigar Lighter but I also have one with two USBs which should enable me to charge the Tomtom and my iPhone. However I haven’t got a USB to Tomtom 720 cable. What is the name of the plug that fits the Tomtom? Is it called a mini plug or what? I hate sending for things that do not fit. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.
