I live in the UK and whenever I enter a motorway IGO8 always says highway. Is there anyway I can change it to UK English Language?

Go to Settings/Regional and make sure you have an English voice selected.
Having said that Philippa-Eng_UK says Motorway but Kate-UK-English says Highway.

on my iGo8, I only have the option of Kate, but at the minute I can't even remember if she says Highway, or Motorway. Must be a sign of old age!!

Snap, with the age (possible) poblem.
For UK_Eng_ female voices I've only ever had f1 and f3, f1 being Philippa and f3 Kate. The strange thing is, the Kate file is 1972kb but Philippa only 872kb. Even stranger is Philippa gives extra count down instructions and more accurate.
Silly Kate tells me to turn back when approaching a roundabout to join the M2, although the on screen route is correct, and a few times she's told me to keep right when it should be left.
I haven't been able to find out what happened to f2 and who she was. (I used to like Jane when I had TT).
