You may want to uninstall the Home application and reinstall.
1825 was supposed to be faster than the earlier Home version and, for most, it seems to be. _________________ David |

Which other version! Mine have been painfully slow for ages! (especially fetching lists like "contents of my device" or PC)
As dhn says, this one was supposed to do that in a different way and to be a bit quicker. |

I keep getting a timeout when it wants to update my device - cannot contact the TomTom server.

I dont know what the other versions was,But i did uninstall then did it again and now its much better,But ive got to say the older version was much better,Normally i would of thought about doing it again but i didn't think that would be the problem as it was updated twice.
Thanks |

I too am having trouble with the upgrade. When I try and launch HOME I get the following message:
TomTomHOMERuntime.exe failed with error 0: Process failed to start up correctly.
If this problem persists, please reinstall from:
http://www.tomtom.com/home
I have tried this but halfway through installation it fails!
I have a One 3rd Edition and use Vista, anyone else having this total failure?
Cheers,
Si |

Cheers dhn - uninstalling and then redownloading appears to have done the trick.
Bit of a poor update from TomTom if it doesn't do that automatically! |

Ive got to say since the new versions have come out they are just rubbish,When i click on home it takes ages to load and when it does load it take 2-3minutes to get the updates for my Go.
I thought i had solved it by uninstalling and starting fresh but it never fixed the problem. |
