How can i update my camera database without using the POI loader. I have come away on hols with my notebook running linux and for some reason my nuvi 255 is not shouting at me so imust have had a glitch.
Is there another method? have been trawling through the group for ages and obviously looking in the wrong place.
many thanks Alan |

You can't i'm afraid as you need POILoader to compile your database files into a POI.GPI file and POILoader seems to be the only way... |

Poiloader will run under Wine on Linux, install WINE then install poiloader. Set the path to your unit and you are all set. |
