Mike, is it really faster than letting the TT devidce autoscan?
Anyway, can you send me the POI files - and would you like them to be hosted so you don't get bothered by all these requests?

Sent, although the newer software makes a manual tune option rather less beneficial than the earlier Navcore releases. Its still handy to see where you are relative to any transmitters but as TomTom decided to remove the tuned frequency information from the display its far less handy than it used to be - Mike |

Is the TMC data transmitted on different frequencies to the ones transmitted on Classic FM.
I must admit that I thought it was only transmitted on Classic FM. Which across the UK is from 99.9 - 101.9 MHz. |

Have a look at This Page for a transmitter list and you will that Classic FM is only one of a large number of different radio stations. Your device will be using anything from 96,4 to 107,7 in the UK these days - Mike |

Craig, you f2s e-mail account seems to be rejecting mail, perhaps if you send me an e-mail using the button below this post I can reply to that as my e-mail button is a live account I use all the time - Mike |

Hi Mike,
I am getting a Becker Z205 today that has a Premium TMC subscription and uses ITIS information, so I am told. Is there a way of getting any available transmitter POI's for this unit?
This unit is a completely new area for me although it has some good features, if the blurb has anything to go by. And also which forum would this be covered in as I might, if I keep it long enough, do a review if anyone wants it?

Looking at the list of stations - Mike how old is that list - i.e. is there a way of finding out when the stations (like Wave105 down here) start broadcasting or is it manually tune the TomTom to it and see what happens.
I came down the A3 from London a couple of weeks back - lost TMC - so checked the frequency of classic via the car stereo and tuned the device to that frequency - what message did I get "Another station broadcasting......" grrrrrr |
