Just quick question is this possible to install the speed cams on iphone 3g and if so how do i go about putting them on.. Had a quick search couldn't find any info on this

Yes it is possible if your phone is jailbroken, BUT there is little point bothering as the TT iPhone app doesn't have any capability to warn about proximity relative to POI locations, all it will do is display the camera icon on the map and let you navigate to a camera ( it could be handy for camera verification though). In the iPhone forum section you will find a four page thread about TT on the iPhone, have a look at a post I made on page two as that shows PGPSW Speed Cameras on the TT application - Mike

If your phone is jailbroken I will be posting up a guide on how to install the camera database later today, it's not difficult but the best iPhone application for using custom POI files for speed camera warnings is Sygic, you might want to have a read of the Sygic guide for some ideas, the process is the same only the folders and files alter between the applications - Mike |
