Just offered this new version as a critical upgrade from the beta.
I am being offered for the UK, France, Holland and Germany "premium safety cameras" and for the rest of Europe including the above "safety cameras". Does anyone know what the difference is between premium and non premium and should both be installed for the same country? (Naturally I use the PGPS cameras in preference) _________________ Drivelux |

I believe Premium includes mobile camera hotspots, accident hotspots and some other miscellaneous camera types.
edit: As with the beta build 2.7 won't work under Windows 7 for me. "TomTom Home has stopped working" is the only error. Compatibility mode for XP/Vista does nothing to help.

Premium is based upon data supplied from Road Angel while the non premium are TomTom's own data, although I think Dennis is accurate with the earlier answer - Mike |

I just launched Home 2.7 on my XP Laptop and it forced the upgrade to this "critical release". Now Home won't start and gave an error message so I deleted it and when re-installing it I get the error message "Error Opening File for writing" And it is the HOMEservices.dll that it is not liking.
So now I have a 940 that keeps freezing and TT refuse to replace it and a TT Home that has crashed.
Think I might go get CoPilot 8 for my Touch Pro 2 and sell my TT kit. |

Deleted the xul folder in Tomtom Home 2 folder and managed to get it to install.
What with the "clear cache" process they made me go through with the 940 they need to warn you that you need an IT Degree to operate their devices! |
