According to TomTom's web site, HD Traffic will be working in France "before the end of the year". Does anyone know whether it is working now, please?
Only 30 sleeps until I go on holiday !!

I believe if works on France for French purchased units and the XL Live Europe. The roaming agreements are not yet in place for current SIMs in the UK x40 range. _________________ Drivelux |

I live in the south of England and can pick up traffic incidents in the North of France. It's possible this is normal and is no indication of the availability of HD Traffic in France. Alternatively it could be rolled out a few thousand units at a time.
I think you'll have to see when you get there as i can't find any confirmation either way. However, would you let us know? |

I can see a few as well but these are picked up on the English SIM in England and the SIM would not receive GPRS data in France (unless you picked up a UK cell when on the coast in Northern France) before the roaming is established.
TomTom told me that once the service has roaming, you will receive a message from them on the unit informing you of this. _________________ Drivelux |

Thanks to both of you.
I am going to have to pay my HD Traffic sub and keep my fingers crossed when I get there.

As of two days ago the roaming agreement isn't working yet. TT are still saying quarter 4 (end of the year). RDS_TMC is acceptable in my experience. _________________ Go740L App 9.510 Europe 985.8155
