Okay, how about uninstalling and reinstalling the application?
Does the computer recognize the existence of the unit as an external drive? If so, use Explorer to make a complete backup of the unit's contents, ensuring hidden files/folders are showing.
Now, use Explorer to delete all the loose files in the root of the unit, NO folders or their contents.
Start Home. Should recognize the unit is missing an application and offer to dl and install it. Let it do so.
Disconnect the unit PROPERLY from the computer using the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the notification area or Home's Device/Disconnect.
Start up the unit. Any better? _________________ David |

Does it do this when connected to the charger either on the computer (remember there is a seperate charger lead for the home dock) or when its connected to the car charger?
If its OK when running from an external power supply then the internal battery is probably shot - Mike |

David, thanks for the advice, did all what you said and it worked and booted up.
HOWEVER, now when I switch on the screen just flickers for a split second and wont turn on unless I stick a paperclip in the reset hole then it will startup fine. But it wont start up without a reset, any ideas? _________________

I do believe I've read where some have had to do the rest thing about 3 times in a row before the resetting 'stuck'. Try it. _________________ David |

Do a pin set.
Then, after it starts up, do another pin reset.
Turn it on and do a third pin reset. _________________ David |

Bit late in the day but from my experience the 910 will not run on a charger if the battery is shot. Had two battery replacements so far, could not get the unit to stay on. Now I try to keep the battery fully charged as much as possible, I used to only have it on the charger in the car.
