Just for interest, does anyone know the differences, and which is the more complete/accurate, between the pgpsw euro camera databases and those available through www.gps-data-team.com ?

Unless I'm reading it wrong, when you go to the GPS-Data-Team site for France HERE, they actually seem to suggest you go somewhere else (SCDB) for a better database!
Not a great advert for themselves!

I know that PGPSW would much prefer to base their database on actual sightings rather than other sources, but I agree that can make it quite a slow process in some other countries.

So it's another catchment site for SCDB. They are rather limited, three types of cameras, redlight/speed, speed and "Section" or average speed. No mobiles. There's only one download file, which contains all the cameras for europe, so 30mph or 30Km/h are all the same - means you couldn't use OGG files for warnings with speeds. The camera count then is their entire database.

Thanks for the posts. It's good to get alternative input, you've confirmed my initial scepticism, and I have no intention of replacing my already loaded pgpsw database
