Hi folks,
I downloaded the new software and promptly lost all red dots/snail trail on my Satmap. I reset all data and I routinely start trip logs every time I go out so that cannot be the problem. Any ideas?

Is the "track off"? Rather than small or large dots? _________________ LostMike

Hi Mike, thanks for replying but I'm confused by your questions. What do you mean by 'track off'? Is that different to setting the Trip Log, or are you referring to a track being made the active track or do you mean something else? As for small dots vs large dots, I don't know anything about that either. Sorry if I look a bit clueless, I've only ever seen one size red dots on my Satmap - and now they've gone.
Also, as I understand it, the blue circle is supposed to have a line radiating from it indicating the direction in which you are currently facing. I only get this directional line very sporadically, maybe once a day if I'm lucky and it disappears again within seconds. Mostly, I just don't see it all day. Is there some setting on the Satmap I need to set to have it appear all the time?
Thanks for trying to tackle these problems for me, I appreciate it.

PS Is there an updated manual for the new version of Satmap I downloaded or do we just use the original one? I looked on the Satmap website but couldn't see a new version of the manual. |
