As per the title my Ipaq 3970 does not accept the compact flash card and asks for the device driver name.
Is this just a problem with older Ipaqs and the faster cards or does anyone know of a fix/driver I can get to resolve the problem?
Perhaps it's telling me to upgrade!!
Thanks for any help you can offer. |

What are you plugging the CF card into? _________________ Tim |

Doh,
Knew I'd left something off the post. It's a Silver Slider expansion jacket.
Have just tried the card in a 2210 and it reads/writes/deletes fine.
Jacket problem then?? |

Could be. There's a thread in the HP forums discussing recent Silver Slider problems here. I'm afraid I don't know anything about them, though. _________________ Tim |

Thanks,
I'd seen that but did not think it relevant as a Lexar 256mb is in the jacket and works fine.
Don't think it's a faulty jacket more likely a driver issue, no sign of anything helpful on the HP support site either.
