Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.
Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.
A very sad day for all Michael fans myself included. |

Sad as this event might be I still don't see this chap as 100% innocent WRT the previous charges against him
At the end of the day,
he bought the silence of a lot of people... Can't see an innocent person doing that...
I am not going to mention what the above refers to, as there is no need, a sad loss to the music industry indeed - Mike |

Many really great people are often viewed as eccentric - but with the recent swine flue pandemic I did think that Jacko had the right idea with the surgical mask. |

I for one am gutted.
Private life aside, he was a great entertainer and musician and, as Mike says, a sad loss to the music industry is certainly what it is.
Pocketgps, were you going to any of the 'This Is It' tour concerts? I had bought front-block tickets for myself and my husband to attend one of the tour dates at the O2 in August.

Unfortunately I missed out on the tickets. Some would probably say I was fortunate, but not me.
Rest in peace Michael. I'll always love your music. |

It was far worse than that (if true)
Anyway he was found not guilty. Under normal circumstances I would agree with Mike but in this case he would have been acting on legal advice when paying people off. It looks bad but lawyers probably thought at the time that a trial would be even worse. What MJ had done was extremely niiave and would look very bad in 'normal' circumstances and as such the risk of a conviction was there.
MJ was anything but normal.
Uri Geller said it right the other day on the radio I think. Probably the only time I will ever agree with Uri Geller but there you go.
A sad loss to the music industry. He was an incredible talent. _________________ Paul
