Just went ahead and bought this software, followed the instructions and inserted the SD Card, where it did it's installation, but when I try to run it, it starts but then exits.
It's the original supplied SD Card, whih arrived in the sealed packaging from Expansys.
Looking at the FAQs, it suggests that it is a licence issue or an issue when you copy the software onto a nother SD card. As mentioned, it's the original card and I would expect it's licence to be valid.
Any suggestions? _________________ HTC HD2 - Used only for Sat Nav (now using an iPhone 4 for phone)

Personally I'd get on to Expansys and see what they have to say. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Well I have logged a ticket with NavnGo support, so I'll give them a chance to see if it can be rectified, otherwise, yes, I will give Expansys the opportunity to replace the one they have sent me.
Still it seems a lot of people amend the sys.txt file to get things working correctly. _________________ HTC HD2 - Used only for Sat Nav (now using an iPhone 4 for phone)

Just thought I'd let you all know that I have managed to get my igo8 working on the FSC Loox C550.
I eneded up risking it and performing a hard reset and that allowed igo8 to run correctly.
I'm thinking that the problem may have been caused by a SDHC driver I had installed to allo me to use SDHC cards. By performing a hard reset it removed that driver and the igo8 was allowed correctly
Liking it a lot, especially with the Ultraskin on it. Kudos to Linknet!! _________________ HTC HD2 - Used only for Sat Nav (now using an iPhone 4 for phone)

Glad you're experiencing all the +'s with iGO8.

I notice he now has a skin for Amigo. If it's as good as his Ultra Skin v6 for iGO8 it will please anyone using it. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property
