I have a nuvi 660FM and i have just downloaded the latest database to it all seems well, however i have what is probably a noob question, does the speed limit advice come from the speed camera database POI's or from the maps themselves? IE if i completely removed all poi's would i see the speed limits (not camera) and be advised of them?
also i noticed before i put the latest database on that there were several cyclops sample gpi files, is it safe to remove them if the database is newer? |

Road speed data is a feature of the map.

The speed limit warnings are embedded in the map data so removeing the database will not affect them.
You can delete the cyclops files if you wish. Might be best to make a copy to your PC first though. |
