I understand that I cannot play MP3s on my 740 with the normal TOM TOM software.
Can anyone recommend a reliable add-on programme that will allow this to be done?
If I did this is there any way that I could output the MP3 sound to FM transmitter to run through the car stereo?
Thanks in anticipation _________________ Furry Fred

I have used MobileNova on the 940 for a while but I am not too sure it works with the current latest software, as for an FM Transmitter you will need an external Tx unit as AFAIK only the 940 has the FM Tx hardware installed, if you go to Change Preferences/ Speaker Preferences does it offer FM Transmitter as one of the options?
To Use an External Transmitter will also require that you purchase the accessory dock as the one supplied with the device doesn't even sport a Line-Out connector for anything to plug into - Mike |

Thanks Mike. I will have a look at the software and report back.
Can you please tell me where I can get the accessory dock from? _________________ Furry Fred

The windscreen dock can be found Here and the Brodit style dock Here They both have the required sockets attached. To save on postage charges take a trip down to Halfords in the morning as they should have these in stock - Check the extra sockets are fitted though BEFORE you purchase the mount - Mike |
