If you go into the preferences menu then through the pages to voice commands there are two options one of which is display available commands. I thiink they have changed since earlier versions of the software, but I cannot be sure. _________________ Drivelux |

The list of commands is stored in the commandsENG.ctx file which you can open with notepad, scroll to the bottom of the text file and you will find them all spread over three or four lines, the file is loacted in the ASR folder on the device.
To save you the hastle of messing around with it though:

Thanks for that very substantial list of words to say to TOM !!!
I did have some words to say while on holiday in France for the past 6 weeks..
I thought -- and was told by TT Services that TTLive would be working in Europe...
NO WAY..
even though in the UK we can check on the weather in Bilbao -- Paris -- or any where else -- once over the water it don't work
No traffic or any of the other LIVE services -- which I thought had been rolled out..
So has anyone any idea if -- and when they will be rolled out??
Just been asked to subscribe to the latest 2GB Europe map
What is the latest version?
Is it worth having at £79???
perhaps there is another thread on the maps.. _________________ Happy to meet -- Sorry to part -- Happy to meet again |

The Live Services roaming in Europe for the x40 range have always been promised by the end of this year and are not yet avaiable. This is said to be about getting the roaming agreements in place with the other countries mobile providers. _________________ Drivelux |

I think this is a bit of a red herring to be honest, if you purchase an XL IQ Live thats got roaming enabled straight out of the box, one assumes the upcomming x50 devices will also have roaming enabled when they go on sale. They must have the roaming agreements sorted out by now so I fail to see any real reason to delay the x40 roaming switch over - Mike |

The newer devices could possibly use a SIM from a company other than Vodafone such as another of TTs european mobile providers. Newer SIMs will be able to roam out of the box on all the mobile networks TomTom uses.
The older Vodaphone SIMs in the x40 devices will need roaming agrements (if they do not already exist) and for every single current SIM to be enabled for use in other countries. _________________ Drivelux |
