Nokia 5800 GPS options

HI, I think this is the correct section to post in for a Nokia 5800. If not please can a mod shift it in the right direction.

I have recently been upgraded to a Nokia 5800. It comes with Nokia Maps which seems quite good on the brief moments I have used it. The Drive and Walk features are on a 7 day trial at the moment and then its £60 per year.

What I would like to know is, what other options are there out there?
I read here that some Garmin software is compatible with the 5800 but their website does not list it.

What about Google Maps? Is it a full Satnav software or does it just show where you are and track the route without giving instructions?

Nearly forgot to mention, the decision of which software to go for would rest upon it working with the Pocket GPS Speed Camera location files.

Last question is regarding A-GPS. I think, and correct me if I am wrong, it uses the mobile masts and gets an appox. location and it allows the satnav to begin work whilst waiting for the satellites connect up to the actual GPS receiver?
Does it cost a lot of data? I have a 500Mb download limit per month.
