Oh! Dear you are in a pickle.
I have never found myself in the position where I have been unable to open a Zip package and just what can be wrong I do not know. I will certainly follow this topic to see what the eventual answer will be. Sorry I can’t help. |
Indeed, rather disappointed TomTom support are not a bit quicker off the mark. I think failing anymore advice is to try a faster connection. The link was interested, it seemed to say quite a few people had come up against failed downloads, but to hack for it requires getting into the zip file and that is strange one. I going to toddle along as best I can and will let you know if something happens. _________________ in the 128 |

Just out of curiosity, are you able to see what size the Zip File is if you ‘Right Click’ on it and look at Properties? |
Well I am on a Mac, so not much info in get info.....
Just running it with my windows partition. I cannot open it using Winzip, says its corrupt. Looking at properties gives the size as 1.27GB, nothing else. _________________ in the 128 |

Hi inthe128
Wow! I’m pleased that you have the map at last.
So Denmark is the place to go for anyone having problems downloading Tomtom maps. I don’t think my wife will believe me if I tell her I’m off to Denmark to download a map but the thought is rather tempting.
Now, where’s the Danish Seaways Ferry address……. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.
