The maps are on a SD card, I looked on this card and there are only 3 files one is the big data file.
Would it be possible to make your own cards if you would have your one map from a other source?
I'm going to Portugal and would like to create a map for the Algarve.

| Welcome to the forum, if is not possible to create your own maps for use with the active10, you can only purchase the map packs from Satmap or their authorised retailers - Mike |

Have a look at their website for the range of countries covered, from memory it's Austria, Germany, Switzerland and I think France now. Don't think Portugal's there yet, but it seems each month there's a new country on offer.
Plus there is always the world map upgrade giving some basic mapping. |
